Not an Officer
Trying to get to the Time Warner Cable Arena for my first day covering the DNC. A cop eating a donut or a bagel or something just asked if I’m law enforcement. I said no, I’m a reporter for NPR. “This entrance is just for Police or Secret Service.” We’re still driving around in circles, twenty minutes later. Sometimes maybe it’s best to impersonate an officer.
